How does it work?
Gorilla tracking is one of those ultimate experiences. You can either select to join a set departure and jet off to the envy of your friends to see the Gorillas in just a weekend or you might like to tag on a few days on the Serengeti Plains to see the infamous migration of millions of wildebeest. Either a tailored or scheduled itinerary can be extended in this way.
To seeing the gorillas there are a number of choices. There are the ice covered peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains that form the back drop to the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park (QE) in western Uganda.
There is also Rwanda with the magnificent Parc National des Volcans in the Virunga volcanoes home to the wonderful mountain gorillas to which Dian Fossey dedicated her life.
Whichever location you select it will be an unforgettable experience and one that combines easily with the more traditional safari in Africa to see big cats, elephants and rhino. Which will leave you simply buzzing on you flight home with the number and variety of animals that you have seen.
